Colas Rail UK Freight Celebrate Golden Whistles Haul

We are delighted to share that Colas Rail UK’s Freight division were the recipients of two awards at the Chartered Institute of Railway Operators (CIRO) and Modern Railways’ Golden Whistle Awards.

Colas Rail UK received the Golden Whistle for Best in Class Freight Operating Company in the Small Operator category and a Silver Whistle for Best Operational Performance in the Minimising Delay Minutes, amongst all operators in the UK.

These award categories are judged on industry data collated over a 12-month period, showing Colas Rail UK had best in class delivery and a strong performance in minimising delays.

Speaking on the success at the Golden Whistles, Freight Operations Director, Sep Semsarzadeh said “I am incredibly proud of the Colas Rail Freight team for winning two Golden Whistle awards.
