Essential maintenance works of the Bristol Division of the South Rail Systems Alliance were recently featured on an episode of the latest season of Paddington 24/7.
Airing in mid-November, the episode follows the construction of the site team as they undertake renewals of the 200-year-old, 2.5-mile-long Chipping Sodbury tunnel that was part of our essential programme of possessions over September.
The Scope of work included the renewal of 1126 of plain line track and tamping 557 yards, along with OLE adjustments, tunnel and track monitoring.
The episode features footage of the renewals as the scheme progresses, with project updates given throughout by Project Lead, Cate Lough.
