Our Kings Norton division have been based at Dolphin Junction, located near Slough and a key route along the Great Western Main Line.

Starting works on Christmas Eve and handing back on the 5th January 2026, our team renewed 10 Switches & Crossings (S&C) points and 750m of plain line track.

Incorporating our in-house expertise, we also completed other infrastructure upgrades including Overhead Line (OLE) and Signalling & Telecoms (S&T) on the Up and Down Main Lines.

Team Anglia Collaborate at Kensal Green

Also starting their programme on Christmas Eve, Team Anglia have been working in Kensal Green, near London on a comprehensive programme of works to renew 10 points of S&C and 716 yards of track also with associated OLE and S&T works.

The team also renewed 201 yards of drainage, to maximise reliability of the network for the foreseeable future.

The team could also call upon our Kirow 1200, which assisted with the lifting and installation of the S&C panels. The team successfully handed back the site to the client on the 5th January 2026.

In total, the team replaced 54 timber bearers, three sets of S&C and associated ironwork.

Fulfilling Our Duties At Filton

Team Bristol also delivered 1200 yards of re-railing of the Up Filton Main, just outside Bristol Parkway.

Completing Cambridge South

Our Enhancements division were back at Cambridge South to complete remedial works including the installation of air gap rails on 5 point ends, an Insulated Block Junction, Closure Rail on the Head Shunt and vegetation management. The team have subsequently completed follow up works, with OLE splice and surveys, further installation of Closure rails and the removal and reinstallation of Road Rail Access Point to the Maintenance Compound Area.

All works completed by our team were with help from our trusted supply chain.

The SRSA is comprised of Colas Rail, Network Rail and AECOM, an alliance created to deliver a portfolio of works across the southern region of the UK.
