We are delighted to be entrusted by High Speed 2 (HS2) to bring our world leading high-speed credentials to deliver the systemwide Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) for HS2, spanning 280 miles of track capable of speeds of up to 225mph (360km/h).

Colas Rail UK will be responsible for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the OCS using the leading-edge V360 OCS design range under licence from French SNCF.

This system was the first in Europe to be certified for speeds of up to 360km/h and will provide power to the state-of-the-art high-speed trains.

The Colas Rail Group has more than 40 years’ experience designing, managing and delivering high-speed rail. We have been involved in some of the most exciting and strategic projects in France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Morocco, South Korea as well as the UK’s first high speed line, HS1.
